Have you ever wondered what a therapy dog does? Perhaps you’ve seen or heard about dogs visiting schools, hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Science has shown us how beneficial therapy dogs can be. Visits from a therapy dog can lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduce patient anxiety, and increase levels of endorphins and oxytocin. JENNY LANGNESS has been working with therapy dogs for over ten years. Earl and Albert, her dogs, accompany her to area clinics/hospitals/hospice, senior living facilities, and area schools. Offered in partnership with Prescott Community Ed. Address: 1220 St. Croix Tr, Prescott, WI - Enter through door #5 on the football field side of the school.
