Hastings Community Education

We will practice at 9:00 AM on the following Saturday mornings in the Hastings Middle School Pool, 1000 11th Street W, Hastings, MN:

March 22 & 29
April 5 & 12 (No practice on April 19, Easter weekend and no practice on April 26, Regional Competition)
May 3, 10, 17 & 31 – (No practice on May 24, Memorial Day weekend)
June 7 & 14
Enter the Middle School at door #3. Building doors unlock at 8:45. Practice begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Unified partners should plan to attend every practice with their athlete. Unified athletes must be swimming at a level at or above their athlete.

Practice dates may change, so please listen for announcements at the beginning of each practice.

Coach Behnke may decide to stagger the practice start time depending on the number of athletes registered for swimming.

SWIMMING COMPETITIONS:

REGIONAL COMPETITION: Saturday, April 26th, St Catherine’s University, 2004 Randolph Ave, St. Paul, MN 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

STATE SUMMER GAMES: Saturday & Sunday, June 21st & 22nd, Jean K Freeman Aquatic Center, U of M, 1910 University Ave SE, Minneapolis

Athletes may only compete in one sport at the 2025 Summer Games, so please do not sign up for a relay if your athlete is planning to compete in another sport at state. Athletes must compete in the Regional Swimming Competition to attend Swimming Summer Games. A staff or family member must accompany your athlete to all practices and competitions.

Athletes will never be turned away if they are unable to pay the participation fee. You will have the option to request a scholarship for your fee when you register
online with Hastings Community Education. Your request is confidential.
