Red Cross Babysitter Training (Ages 11+)

Winter/Spring 25

This training provides youth, ages 11-15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care in the absence of parents/guardians. This training will also help participants develop leadership skills, professionalism, basic care, safety, safe play and basic first aid. Completion certificates will be available via online. Course fee includes a handbook, emergency reference book and first aid kit. Please be prepared with a student or parent email address to access your completion certificate online. Participants should bring their own water bottle, snack and a pencil.

*Participants must be 11 years old by the class start date. The Red Cross requires students attend all 4 sessions to receive a certificate of completion. This class DOES NOT include CPR certification.

Jaclyn Hansey

Jaci Hansey is a Red Cross babysitter instructor, licensed Early Childhood Educator and loves community education!  Jaci is a lifelong learner who is passionate about sharing knowledge with others. Through years of personal experience babysitting, raising two children and professional experience as a teacher, Jaci is excited to share her knowledge with future Babysitters!
