  • Soccer: Tiny Techs

    5 days of soccer fun for our smallest players! Open for ages 3-6, this tiny techs soccer clinic is led by soccer instructors who love the game and love working with children. Tiny Techs gives children the ability to consistently and recognizably improve with positive reinforcement from our trainers. It introduces children to the game in a positive, fun and exciting way that will provide a solid foundation to build upon. Instilling confidence is perhaps the most important aspect of the Tiny Techs training approach. Kids receive a t-shirt, certificate and skills assessment. Please bring a water bottle, soccer ball, shin guards and cleats or tennis shoes and a rain jacket.

    Ready for more? The Next Level Soccer Camp is about scoring goals, and learning the attacking skills necessary to give your team the edge. We encourage shooting at every opportunity so the player understands it’s okay to miss. The key is to keep shooting, allowing players to learn from mistakes by giving positive feedback and instilling confidence in ability. We teach players that shooting is good! We’ll work with the skill you bring and work together to strengthen. Please bring a water bottle, soccer ball, shin guards, 2 snacks and cleats or tennis shoes and a rain jacket.
  • Babysitting 101 with Emergency Outfitters

    Emergency Outfitters is back! This wildly popular course fills fast every year and leaves youth equipped to to be ready to care for children! This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Students need to bring a snack, beverage, and sack lunch. Recommended for ages 10-14.
  • Colorguard Camp (Gr 4 - 8)

    Colorguard is the dynamic movement component, typically associated with marching band and is an awesome way to get involved in the band community without needing to play an instrument! Colorguard teaches dance basics and skills, along with flag twirling and equipment handling and management, not to mention it improves your athleticism and stamina without being too difficult for beginners to enjoy.   • FAST KIDS - Staying Safe while Home Alone with Emergency Outfitters

    First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 – 10 year olds. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, stranger safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, and personal safety. This course helps prepare children for staying at home alone. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class. Students need to bring a snack, pencil, and water bottle.

This class will be held at MNCPR's Hastings facility.

    Cornerstone Horse Camps Youth horse camps are a great way to experience the joy and hard work that go hand in hand with working with animals! Beautiful Cornerstone on the Vermillion Stables provides a wonderful backdrop for these four day camps that are all about horses. Students will ride using different techniques and styles. They’ll learn how to care for their horses and about stable etiquette. Students are grouped by ages and abilities, so no matter where you student is, they’ll learn something new with Cornerstone! Please send a cold lunch, bike helmet, and water bottle for the day. Students need to be dressed to ride in long pants, tennis shoes, and sun protection.
  • Skyhawks: Volleyball Camp (Ages 7-12)

    Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through game-based drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Please bring a snack and filled water bottle.

  • Project Runway Sewing Camp -- Beach Edition! (4th-8th grade)

    Project Runway style fun!!! Sewing is a life-long skill that can be both a joyful hobby and useful skill. Students this year will sew a swimsuit cover up, mini messenger bag, earbud case, and even build your own personalized sewer’s handbook. Students learn multiple stitches and styles of machine sewing. All supplies, tools, and equipment are provided and all of the projects go home at the end of the week!
  • Code Championship Tournament / Virtual Computer Coding Competition

    Grades 3-9--Large range, but LOTS of room to grow and learn through coding competitions! Build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders! Players will be broken into pools based on age for competitive and fair play. Whether this is your first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. This event will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Please come knowing how to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament.

    The AHA’s Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). This class will be held at MNCPR's Hastings location.
