    Red Cross instructors make the world a better place! In this class, students will be equipped to teach the lifesaving skills associated with CPR. American Red Cross Training Services instructors are an elite group of professionals who teach valuable lifesaving skills to an average of more than 9 million people each year in businesses, schools and communities. This class will be held at MNCPR's Hastings facility.
  • Wilderness First Aid

    Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs. Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification. This is a 2 year certification.
  • AHA Basic Life Support

    The AHA’s Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). This class will be held at MNCPR's Hastings location.
  • Pet CPR

    The MN CPR Pet CPR Certification program is designed to train the participant in canine and feline CPR and First Aid. Students will learn how to respond to a pet in an emergency situation before getting them to the veterinarian. This class will cover managing common medical emergencies including shock, allergic reactions, burns, wounds and bandaging, trauma, poisoning, choking and more. Students will learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with a pet manikin to simulate real world scenarios. Our Pet CPR and First Aid Certification is ideal for professionals in animal related industries or those who love animals including: pet sitters, obedience trainers, kennel workers, pet retailers, groomers, animal shelter volunteers, rescue personnel, first responders, and pet owners.
  • Hybrid CPR/AED/FA

    This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations. The hybrid format combines the ease of online learning with in-class instruction. The online class will open a week prior to the in-person class time. Online classes must be done before in-person class can be taken. Cost includes all instruction, online access, and cards associated with this class.
