  • American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/SPR/AED

    The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). This is a blended class so there is an online portion that will be sent 1 week ahead of the class to be completed before class starts. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
  • American Heart Assoc basic Life Support

    Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. Anyone is eligible to register for this course. However, it is geared towards individuals who are in the medical field or need more extensive BLS CPR AED training including: Nurses, Physicians, EMT's, Dental, Students, Lifeguards, Law Enforcement and Firefighters.

Join us this year for our “70s Disco" where we invite all our guests to get down with their unique and wonderful families under the disco lights. This groovy night will include 70s-inspired treats, crafts, games and activities. We will have our dance party with our famous balloon drop, and so much more. Register by April 10th and save! Please register the adult by name and then you will be prompted to answer a question to include the children attending. This event is especially nifty for children ages 3-12.
  • American Red Cross Swim Instructor Training

    This course trains American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (TM) candidates to teach courses and presentations in the Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants’ progress. The courses and presentations include Parent and Child Aquatics Levels 1 and 2 Preschool Aquatics Levels 1 - 3 Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 - 6 three adult courses as well as the Basic Water Rescue and Personal Water Safety courses and more. To enroll instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age on or before the last day of the instructor course and successfully complete the precourse session which includes demonstration of swimming skill at Learn-to-Swim Level 4.

    Laurel Severson Learn to create the rolled Norwegian cookie, Krumkakes made with cream, butter and cinnamon or sometimes flavored with vanilla. For generations, Minnesotans have purchased their irons to bake krumkakes from local manufacturer Nordic Ware in St. Louis Park. Italian Pizzelles are also baked on the top of the stove using an iron but are a flat, anise-flavored cookie or they also may be flavored with vanilla. The chewy, almond Swedish Sandbakkelse are delicate golden brown in color and are baked in tiny tins to resemble tarts. Finally, we will master deep fried Rosettes - those exceedingly fragile, paper thin Scandinavian delicacies dusted with confectioners’ sugar. Expect great recipes plus the many tips and techniques that will make your baking a success! Bring containers to transport your creations safely home. Be prepared the day of class to pay an additional food fee of $13 directly to the instructor.

Learn about estates and wills, and prepare a legal will in class. Receive instructions and a professionally prepared form, have access to witnesses and a notary public. Prior to class, review the information forwarded to you. The will form is designed for individual use; couples cannot share this form (each person must register individually). Appropriate for people who have an estate of less than $2,000,000, including life insurance, and do not own a business.
