Did you know that Ninja is one of the fastest growing sports and cross-training sport? Come check out this beginner class and be inspired by the tv show through warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more. Develop confidence, strength, endurance, balance, and friendships and gain skills in agility, power, perseverance, and resilience; attributes that athletes strive to improve. Learn the styles and techniques to develop your ninja skills with over 40 different obstacles!

In this introductory class, you will make 3 mandala paint dotted pieces of artwork. Turn them into your choice of magnets, pins or pendants. All supplies and dotting tools are provided for use. Painting will be done in class. Sealing and finishing work of your mandalas will be completed by the instructor and your artwork dropped back off at class event location within 1-2 weeks. No experience necessary for this class. Just have fun! Background: Mandala dot art is a pattern that is created with many small colorful dots. The pattern itself is usually quite simple and is constructed of several geometrical figures. The center is a dot, which is a symbol considered free of dimensions. It is interpreted as the starting point, the beginning of contemplation, and devotion. From there, the dot is surrounded by lines and geometrical patterns that symbolize the universe, encompassed by the outer circle which represents the cyclical nature of life. It is considered to be a therapeutic art and reflects the artist’s soul.

In this advanced class designed specifically for older artists, we’ll learn and master a simple step-by-step method to truly fantastic drawings. From cute koalas to radiant sunsets to a lighthouse that really glow-in-the-dark, we’ll hone our drawing skills as we create unique masterpieces any burgeoning artist would be proud of! Please pack a nut free snack, lunch and a drink for your child.

DASH Sports Summer Jr. NBA basketball camps provide players with a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camp ends with scrimmages and games on the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a snack. Balls are provided. Each participant will receive a custom Jr. NBA Jersey of their favorite team with their name and number printed on the back to keep.

In this electrifying camp, kids will craft their own light-up greeting cards and fireflies as they bring their creations to life with the magic of LEDs. Explore the captivating realm of electromagnets, learning the principles that power many everyday devices, and conduct hands-on experiments to unravel the mysteries of magnetism. Students leave with a project and science fact sheet. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child each day.

This camp is perfect for inspiring future gardeners who like to play in the dirt! Campers will create a succulent terrarium, container herb garden, hydro paint a flower pot, create treats for the birds, assemble glass beaded suncatchers, paint inspirational rocks and more! Some projects may be conducted outside, weather permitting. Water bottles and a light snack will be provided, or children may bring their own drink and nut free snack.

This camp consists of one day of skills training followed by 3 days of games. Athletes should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided. Each participant will receive an MLS GO uniform with registration consisting of a jersey, shorts, and socks. Plan to meet on the field by the middle school track. If there is inclement weather, camp will be moved to the middle school south gym.

Visit the gardens nestled along the Mississippi River in St. Cloud. The Virginia Rose Garden features a series of gardens reminiscent of European gardens. This is a self guided tour so wear comfortable footwear. Included is lunch at the Coyote Moon Grille. Meal includes: Entrée, popover, salad, side dish, beverage and dessert. After lunch, take a guided tour through Sterns County History Museum. Fee includes: Transportation, tours, lunch, tax and tip

See the best of the Twin Cities! Take a narrated sightseeing tour of Minneapolis and St. Paul with a professional guide. This is primarily a riding tour but will include a couple of stops. You will get out of the bus to view Minnehaha Falls. Enjoy the sights as you view St. Anthony Falls, the historic riverfront area, the milling industry and "Mississippi Mile." You'll see places such as Vikings US Bank Stadium, Old City Hall, the Twins Target Field, and the Sculpture Gardens. In St. Paul there are Victorian Mansions along Summit Avenue where the Governor's Mansion and James J. Hill House are located. See the magnificent St. Paul Cathedral, the State Capitol, Landmark Center and more! We will stop for lunch around 1 at the famous Bucca Di Beppo for a delicious pasta lunch. Plan to board the luxury motor coach at the Hastings Walmart at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. departure. Bus returns by approx. 3:30 p.m. Registration deadline is June 14th!!

The bus will leave Hastings at 9:45 and arrive at the Stillwater dock by 11:00am. Enjoy the scenes while you have a sandwich buffet bar with all the Delicatessen Meats & Cheeses, Sandwich trimmings, Seasonal fruit, Potato Salad and a cookie. Water and a choice of Soda or Coffee also included. We will arrive back at the Pier at 1:30 plenty of time left to walk downtown Stillwater and explore the local shops, Antique stores or indulge your sweet tooth at Barbara Ann's Fudge shop, Candyland or Tremblay's. We will board the bus at 3:45pm and head back to Cottage Grove and the Hastings.

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song and dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by their former Army Commander. With a dazzling score featuring well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love a Piano, How Deep is the Ocean and the perennial title song White Christmas this is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Fee includes: Transportation, lunch, tax, tip and show. Registration deadline is November 8, 2024

Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each sport per day. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports including: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and more! Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, lunch, two snacks, and athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided. Plan to meet on the field by the middle school tennis courts. If there is inclement weather, camp will be moved to the middle school south gym

Learn 3D design and modeling skills using Tinkercad while creating a wand, then create your own magical pendant. Create fun designs to complete different magical CAD challenges. This course will introduce students to using CAD modeling & design software. They'll also do fun Hogwarts-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. Student-designed pendants will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Please bring lunch and a drink.

Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, or a pendant in this class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Please bring lunch and a drink.

Survival Camp in Minecraft: Team up & Survive in our multiplayer world. Explore the unknown and join other Survival enthusiasts to overcome challenges, complete quests on our server. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your games. Please bring lunch and a drink.
